The Twist is a dance move that has been around for decades. It originated in the early 1960s with Chubby Checker’s song of the same name, which became one of the best-selling singles of all time and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

The “twist” dance became popularized as it inspired people to twist their bodies while dancing, hence how it got its name. In order to do the twist dance move, you need two body parts: a right arm and a left leg.

Now put your arms on either side of your head with palms facing up so that one is over each ear – this will be the position for both hands as they go in opposite directions while twisting from waist level.

The same movement should occur simultaneously with feet, which means toes are pointed outward and work diagonally across the floor until thighs come into contact with hips at front.

This movement can also be done using only one arm or foot at a time (while holding onto a partner), but it isn’t nearly as much fun!
