One of the most frequent questions that people ask is what colors don’t have an “e” in them. There are many different answers to this question, but I’m going to focus on two specific colors: green and yellow. The color green falls into the category of primary colors. It’s a mixture of yellow and blue, so there are no other letters in its name.

Green is often associated with springtime because it reminds people of new grass or leaves on trees. You’ll find a lot more greens outside than you will inside because they’re one of nature’s most commonly occurring colors. Yellow – Yellow is also considered to be a primary color where it doesn’t have an “e” in it either. But here I’m going to talk about how different shades make up this hue that can range from very light to dark orangey brown tones depending on what type of pigment was used when creating the paint for the object.
