Microwaving is one of the quickest and easiest ways to heat up a jar. But is it safe? We’ll answer that question, and more in this blog post! This is a question many people have. Microwaving Mason jars is safe as long as you make sure to cover the top of the jar with plastic wrap before microwaving (although not necessary). It’s also important that the microwave doesn’t overheat and boil whatever was in your dish, so keep an eye on it by checking periodically while heating up.

If anything has spilled onto the glass jar, or if there are any cracks in the mouth of it, don’t use this for microwaving! We hope we’ve helped answer some questions about whether or not its safe to microwave mason jars. Check out our other blog posts too – like ‘How do I store my food?’ at __ .
